ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Warburton Primary School celebrated 140 years of State education in 2015. We are a small school offering a rich program of teaching and learning. In 2019 we are operating three classrooms: Junior School (Years Foundation and 1), Middle School (Years 1/2/3) and Senior School (Years 4/5/6).
Our whole-school approach to Literacy involves explicit instruction of reading and writing strategies through the Independent Reader's and Writer's Workshops. We value hands-on Mathematics teaching and learning, to make Numeracy real for our students. We offer Physical Education, STEM, Art, Music and our Kitchen Garden program to round out our vibrant curriculum. We provide targeted intervention for students in need of consolidation and extension.
We value the voice of our students, with Junior School Council being an important forum for our classroom ambassadors to provide us with feedback on their learning journey.
