Warburton Primary School accepts enrolment enquiries at any time throughout the year, and runs Open Nights and School Tours regularly to give prospective families a feel for the school and the positive learning climate. Please note, you will be able to apply to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) 2026 at Warburton Primary School from 20 April 2026. See below for more information.
You are encouraged to download our Warburton Primary School Handbook, or pick up a hardcopy from our front office area at your convenience. You can also use the link below to enrol online as all enrolments must now be received digitally.
Our Kinder to Prep Transition Calendar of activities will launch Term 3, and you are welcome to download a digital copy or pick up a physical copy for your fridge from the front office. A copy of this calendar will also be posted here.

2026 WPS Handbook
Online Enrolment Information
This year, our school is using VicStudents, an online system for new enrolments in Victorian government schools. VicStudents is available at select schools, for students who are enrolling in a Victorian government school for the first time. This includes Foundation (Prep) enrolments for 2027.
To commence online enrolment visit : students.educationapps.vic.gov.au/s/ to create an account and complete the online application form. Please ensure that all documents required are attached to the application.
VicStudents has been assessed by the Department of Education to a high degree of security in line with the Victorian Protective Data Security Standards and is compliant with ISO 27001, the leading international standard for information security.
2027 Foundation (Prep) enrolments
You will be able to apply to enrol your child in Foundation (Prep) 2026 at Warburton Primary School from 20 April 2026.

If you are unsure about your eligibility for enrolment at Warburton Primary School, such as your residential location, you can use the Find My School website at: https://www.findmyschool.vic.gov.au/
What you need to do:
1. Contact our school on (03) 5966 2010 to book a school tour or to learn more about our school and the enrolment application process.
2. Download the Foundation (Prep) enrolment information pack from Enrolling in Foundation (Prep). The pack will be available by Thursday 2 April 2026.
3. Submit an enrolment application by Friday 31 July 2026 either online (VicStudents) or using the paper form based on the school’s process described on their website.
4. You will be notified of the outcome of your enrolment application between Monday 3 August and Friday 14 August 2026. If you receive an offer, you should accept the offer by Friday 28 August 2026.
5. Take part in enrolment information and transition sessions during Term 3 and Term 4, 2026.
6. Your child will start Foundation from Thursday 28 January 2027.
Enrolment applications submitted after 31 July 2026 will be managed by the primary school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Enrolment Policy.

If you prefer not to use VicStudents, you can choose to enrol using a paper form instead. Please contact us to arrange this.
